Pamela hosts The County, Naturally. She’s passionate about nature and has been since an uncle gave her Roger Tory Peterson’s Field Guide to Birds fifty years ago. After time out for a workaholic career, she returned to bird-watching in retirement. When she was asked to create a nature program for the fledgling 99.3 County FM, it was a dream come true. She’s thrilled with the scientific validation The County, Naturally is receiving now. Episodes have been posted to a website of University of Alaska Fairbanks and a wild horse foundation in New York City.
Pamela is adventurous, whether it’s kayaking in Yukon, bird-watching on a remote island in the Bering Sea or exploring ideas for The County, Naturally. She’s interviewed guests across Canada and from Alaska to London, England. Her goal is to bring some of the world’s leading experts to 99.3 County FM listeners.
