Even seasoned captains can use a reminder now and then about the rules of the water and what to do if an unexpected situation arises. Suzanne O’Connor and David McQueen are about to find out how much they know when OPP Constable Alexandra Lebel puts their watercraft safety knowledge to the test. Tune in to find out if they’ll need a few lessons before they leave the dock!

Did you know that Canada Day is considered the highest-risk day of the year for lost pets in Canada? Do you know the signs that your pet is feeling stressed or uneasy? This month, County Dog trainer Tasha Shaw-Verbic discusses how to recognize firework-related anxiety, what you can do to help prevent it, and how to keep your dog safe, calm, and secure throughout the summer celebration season.

Dr. Aaron Davis is working to create an Arabica-like coffee for the hotter days ahead. He’s one of the world’s leading experts on coffee and climate change, based in London, England. Pamela Stagg will talk to him about his adventures in Africa, finding a “lost” gem of a coffee plant, as well as his favourite coffee to drink — when he can afford it.
