September 2023: Suzie Fletcher, author of The Sun Over the Mountains: A Story of Hope, Healing and Restoration, described how a move to the United States and an impulsive marriage brought difficult challenges. She discussed her return to England following her husband`s death and her rewarding work as master saddler and leather expert on the award-winning UK TV show, The Repair Shop.

We will take a closer look at how this upcoming unique leadership program helps youth build confidence, resilience, self-awareness and leadership skills through creativity, storytelling and connection. We’ll also talk about who may benefit from the program and what parents and guardians have noticed after their children participate.

As part of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary, Wellington’s Search & Rescue vessel is moving its operations! After being a familiar sight in the Wellington harbour for so many years, why is it being relocated to Picton? We speak with Wellington Search and Rescue Unit Leader, Paul Spike Lees, about the operational challenges that made the change necessary, how the move will strengthen marine search and rescue across Prince Edward County, and what the future may hold for restoring a dedicated rescue vessel to Wellington. We’ll also discuss how local residents can become involved with the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary.
