And the National Gallery in Berlin is hosting an unusual exhibit by the American digital artist Mike Winkleman, also known as Beeple. Beeple has created robotic dogs with realistic heads of famous people including Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Pablo Picasso. The dogs wander around the gallery recording their surroundings and occasionally discharge an AI created printed image from their nether regions. The image is of their surroundings but is modified in the style of their namesake. The Picasso dog, for instance, prints cubist images. According to Beeple, the exhibit is commentary on how technology influences our perception of the world today. And, yes, one of the dogs does have Beeple’s head.
