As part of our ongoing Branding A Business series, we speak with Trisha Peech, creator of Eat My Shortbread. By her business name, we already know she’s savvy at marketing and has a great sense of humour. But we’ll talk about how her never ending entrepreneurial ideas and workshops do a lot more than make ends meet. The long hours she puts in doing tasks like shipping her product across Canada and fulfilling custom corporate orders both feed her soul and then feed the rest of us — with decadent goodness!

Chefs the globe over, say that the knife is the most important tool in our kitchen! So we speak about everything knives with Picton’s Zest Kitchen Shop kitchen’s co-owner Kyle Otsuka.

Backyard birding has become so popular that in their empty nesting years, Laura and Dan Guenther of Wild Birds Unlimited, decided to open up this nature shop franchise dedicated to this peaceful past time. We’ll learn how simple changes at home can attract local species to our backyards and explore some of the shop’s products that help bird enthusiasts welcome even more birds to their backyards.
