Shakespeare comes to the County! James Fraser, founder of the County Shakespeare Company, will play Macbeth and Jean Parker is Lady Macbeth in the inaugural production debuting June 19th at Mt. Tabor Playhouse.

PRIDE MONTH

James and Vi Woo continue the discussion about the intersex and transgender communities within the LGBTQ2S+ Community. We’ll take a deeper dive into topics we didn’t have time to fully address last week, including the difference between sex and gender and how these concepts are often misunderstood, the role of pronouns including the use of singular “they” and other inclusive examples in everyday language, and the significance of gender-affirming surgeries and why access to these medical options can be life-changing for many individuals. Finally, the conversation turns to media, television, and the arts, highlighting the films, shows, and creative works that best capture and communicate the lived experiences, diversity, and spirit of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

Among other things, she speaks with Timothy about juggling creativity and commerce and her belief that (just about) everyone deserves a second chance.
