The Sophiasburgh Recreation Committee is keepin’ it cool in Sophiasburgh with the 2nd annual Sophiasburgh Summer Splash.
The event will take place August 26th at Centennial Park in Northport from 11AM until 3PM.
Admission to the family friendly event is FREE and swim gear is a must-have!
There will be live music from Los Hombreros (members of the Sophiasburgh All Stars) in the Gazebo, and lots of activities for kids including face painting, a dunk tank, a bouncy castle, a big soccer ‘dartboard’, and a big water curtain manned by the Fire Department.
There are also paddling trips for young and old into the beautiful bay safely provided by the Quinte Paddling Club at the event so don’t miss out.
Free lemonade and snow cones will be provided along with a beer and spirits garden featuring local offerings from Wild Lot Farm Distillery, and scrumptious Mexican street food courtesy of Rebel Taco.
