An Urgent Town Hall Meeting re: School Board Proposal to Close Many County Schools
The Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is proposing to close the Sophiasburgh Central School, as well as other local schools in the County. Learn about the Board proposal and what it means for our kids and the community on Tuesday, January 17th at 7:00 p.m. at the Sophiasburgh Town Hall, 2771 County Road 5, Demorestville. The Accommodation Review Committee process that was enacted by The Board will be reviewed, you can meet your local Committee members and, most importantly, have your concerns heard!
