99.3 County FM held its 4th Annual General Meeting at the Ameliasburgh Town Hall on January 27th with 45 members attending (and 6 proxies).
After opening performances from musicians Peggy Voigt, Instant Rivalry and the Frere Brothers.
The meeting was chaired by Doug Monk who said that the station aims to reach every part of the County and that Annual General Meetings would therefore be rotated through different wards. Previous AGM’s have been held in Picton and Wellington.
General Manager Deb Simpson presented the report on the station’s operations, stating that the station had been successful beyond anyone’s expectations during its first full year on the air. The complete Operations Report is available here.
The station has a 10-person board with half the members elected each year for a two-year term. This year the proposed slate of Doug Monk, JJ Johnston, Ken Murray, Mark Campbell and Shelagh Mathers was elected by acclamation.
