Christine is a 99.3 County FM board member.
Born and raised in Winnipeg – the home of the Guess Who, Christine studied classical piano throughout school and university years, spending summers sailing on and around lakes in Manitoba and northwestern Ontario. At the end of a long public service career which paralleled a ‘second career’ of volunteerism, she moved to the County to restore connections with real community and benefit from the island lifestyle including her passion for the sport of sailing. In addition to her role as Treasurer on County FM’s Board, she continues her volunteer service on the County’s Community and Economic Development Commission and the County Community Foundation. When not volunteering in the County or sailing with husband David, Christine runs a consulting practice that helps County nonprofit boards develop sound financial management and good governance.
